This beautifully struck, large bronze medallion commemorates the 25
th
anniversary of Pompiers Boevange, the brave firefighters who protected the citizens of Boevange, Luxembourg. The medal is dated 1930
The front of the medal depicts a firefighter in action; nearby is a female figure hovering in mid-air wearing a diaphanous gown and extending a palm frond as a gesture of honor and recognition.
The reverse side displays a raised olive wreath surrounding the legend, “Pompiers-Boevange S/A – 3/8/30” and “25
th
Anniversaire”
Where the wreaths’ ends cross is the letter “N”.
