    Description

    This is a book published by the American Can Company titled "High School Manual on Commercially Canned Foods."  It was published in 1943 and speaks to the importance of canned food during World War II.  It has sections on how tin cans are made, their preservation and history with a special article about "the can opener", and nutrition.  It has 45 pages illustrated with photos and graphs.  It is 9" by 6" bound with staples.  It is in very good condition with a little wear to the cover's corners but otherwise no damages, marks, odors or problems.
