Antique Fireman Parade Ribbon Tonawanda NY Firemen Hose Co. Badge Pin Celluloid

What a fantastic Antique Fire House Ribbon this is! I haven’t seen one like it and doubt I will again. This is a Fireman (or Volunteer Fireman) Hose Company No. 2, “Parade Ribbon” from N. Tonawanda N.Y. This company is still in existence and fighting fires and protecting lives today. This badge/ribbon was worn in special events, likely this was made for an annual event to identify Firemen and was quite an honor to have one. The Graphic of the old hose truck is a Celluloid, and of the same or similar material to the “Member” plaque at the top. Best guess of date is late 1800s. Good overall condition, but it does have some wear on the silver letters and some general wear due to age. A very nice and hard to find rare Fireman’s Parade Badge and/or fireman collectible.
