Antique New York Firefighting Firefighter FIre Ribbon Badge Auburn NY 1874 ?

Offering a unique antique ribbon - Cataract Engine Co 7 - Cayuga Hose No 4 - Auburn NY - September 10 1874? (Unable to clearly read the date so this is not certain). Great piece of firefighting history!
Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the age or history of this item.
Measures approximately 1 3/4" by 6 1/4"
Condition: This ribbon has a tear on the upper edge and some surface staining and discoloration throughout. Other wrinkling and surface wear as well along with a smaller tear on the lower edge. Some damage to the metal tassels on the bottom. Sold as-is and may be missing a pin or other hardware. Some of the lettering is very difficult to read- particularly the date. Overall, still a very nice piece
