Antique New York Fireman Ribbon Badge Fire Firefighter St Johnsville Rescue

Offering a unique antique ribbon labelled as C. Sutherland Captain of Rescue Hose Co No 2 Running Team - St Johnsville (I believe this is New York but not certain). Great piece of firefighting history!
Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the history of this item. Appears to be approximately 1800s era.
Measures approximately 2" by 7 3/4"
Condition: Ribbon has fraying and wear on the upper and lower edges and small staple holes on the upper edge. Some bends / creasing on the corners and other wear. Some surface staining / discoloration. Sold as-is and may be missing a pin or other hardware. Overall, still a very nice piece.
