This is a New Old Stock (NOS) 396 Performance Handbook by Bill Thomas.
Bill Thomas Race Cars is best known for the Cheetah and early V8 Nova projects.
This handbook was released in 1965 with performance modifications for the new (at that time) Chevrolet 396 engine.
Some of the photos and specifications come from Chevrolet literature and AMA Spec documents.

This book came with some other items I bought from the inventory of an old speed shop.
The book is in new condition and I just opened it to take the photos in this auction.
I believe this book has been out of print since the sixties.
