Hires Root Beer Ad ~matted framed paper ad ~100% original ad 1897  ad has the expected age type discoloration to the paper and the frame and the back of the frame itself and there is one black splotch for the lack of a better word to the left of the Hires bottle the child is holding up and one dark mark above the D in the word drink but other than that this is in very good condition for it's age and not an every day find. the collector has dated the ad in writing on the back in pencil June 1897. this is part of a large collection of Hire's Root beer items that we purchased right from the original collector. She spent over 40 years assembling her collection and has several scarce and unusual items like this one that she was willing to part ways with.  the Framed size of this ad is approximately 16 3/4 by 21 inches and the wood frame is 1/4 inch thick. if this one isn't for you please check out our other listings maybe one of those will be. thank you
