    Description

    This is a set of UNIFORM ACCESSORIES from the
    PEPSI COLA
    BOTTLING COMPANY for their
    CONCERT BAND
    from the Double Dot era. I could not find very much information regarding this band except some mention of a Concert Band in 1942 in relation with New York City. I found these items at an auction many years ago all together in one lot so I assume the tie was a part of the Concert Band Uniform. One of the patches has metal clips sewn to the back so that - I assume - it could be attached to a hat. The tie is 44" long and the patch(es) is 4" by 2". These items are in excellent condition - the white marks on the tie appear to be where the blue die has deteriorated over time (70+ years). See my photos for the exact condition. A rare piece of PEPSI COLA memorabilia - I have never seen another example of these items nor have I been able to find any pictures of them - perhaps someone out there has some information they could share.
