1932 Southern New York Volunteer Firemen's Association convention that was held in Roosevelt, Long Island. The tie clasp is metal and has the bust of our 26th President Theodore Roosevelt. Above the bust it reads ROOSEVELT F.D. and below the bust the year 1932. The clasp is 2 1/2 inches long. The ribbon is red white and blue, it is 4 1/4 inch long & 1 1/2 inch wide. The ribbon reads DELEGATE - 37TH ANNUAL - CONVENTION - AND - TOURNAMENT - S.N.Y.V.F.A. - ROOSEVELT, L.I. - 1932. I assume the Roosevelt F.D. of Roosevelt, N.Y., Town of Hempstead, Long Island was the host department. The ribbon was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company. This ribbon also comes with a cardboard advertisement for the Whitehead & Hoag company.
