This IS legitimately scarce outdoor gear.  Vintage 1960s "Alp Sport" (in 'Dark Blaze Orange') - a real PRO Backpack, made in Boulder, Colorado, USA  - and the ONLY one of its kind for sale on eBay!
This is top-quality outdoor gear, very well-crafted from rip-proof nylon, heavy reinforced stitching, and top grain leather strapping.
Features fully adjustable harnessing; a pair of padded leather shoulder straps, leather waist straps with all galvanized steel roller buckles, 2-tone leather bottom, x-wide nylon flat loops, leather zipper tabs, 3 leather stays on the top cap.
A lightweight, rigid (solid bar stock) aluminum inner frame for extra stability & strength (this can be partially seen in photo #7)
A rare 60s survivor, this pack was used maybe a half dozen times - then was safely tucked away inside a climate controlled storage for almost a half-century, hence its amazing condition. No holes, rips, nasty stains, or other crud. Truly a PRO backpack, with fabulous fly-weight design. Perfect size for an overnight excursion or long weekend camping trip, offering an amazing amount of space for its size. And to make a great backpack even better yet, this one folds up into a fraction of its loaded size, for easy, unobtrusive storage. Sweet!
