    When she first put on a pair of skis at just 18 months old, June Lake native Abigale “Abi” Hansen had no way to know that it would lead to her becoming one of the top junior halfpipe skiers in the world. Now she is on the U.S. Ski Team and one of the top skiers in the world. Zipline is honored she has chosen to ski with Zipline Chrome Ski poles. Purple is her favorite color!
    One of the youngest members of U.S. Freeskiing’s team for men’s halfpipe, Sammy Schuiling is also one of the team’s newest members. The Colorado native began skiing at age 2 and now he is one of the top skiers on the U.S. Ski Team and one of the top skiers in the world. A Junior World Champion in the Half Pipe an competitor on the FIS Freestyle World Cup Sammy chooses the Chrome Ski poles. Blue is his favorite color!
    David is a two-time Olympic Gold medalist. He has won six Grand Prixs, six World Cups, three X Games, and one Freeski World Championship in his skiing career. David began competing in halfpipe at a young age, winning his first U.S. national title at 15 and then turning professional at 18. 5. He originally tried ski racing, but after getting into trouble repeatedly for skiing the terrain park during racing practice, breaking expensive race skis on jumps and constantly nagging his parents, his parents finally let him try freeskiing. He also holds the World Record when he launched 11.7 meters (38 feet and 4 inches) above the coping of a quarterpipe to banked landing, logging the highest air yet on this style of jump!
