This is a pre-owned Biotek PowerWave HT absorbance microplate reader that comes ready to acquire data.  Comes with power supply, data cable, Dell E6420 laptop with Gen5 software, absorbance test plate, and 90 day Warranty!!!
The plate reader has had system tests performed, the accuracy was checked with an absorbance test plate and with liquid QC tests (see images of results for all tests.)
What makes the PowerWave HT superior to the PowerWave XS?  The PowerWave HT can simultaneously ready 8 wells at once (it has 8 detectors and 8 fiber optic cables from the light source, see last image), and thus it can read a plate in 5 seconds.  The PowerWave XS can only read one well at a time.  So the HT has the advantage when it comes to kinetic assays where the plate needs to be read at quick intervals.

Warranty Terms:   If the item does not perform according to Manufacturer's specifications, Scicycler will either refund, repair, or replace the item, at seller's discretion.  Buyer is responsible for returning item in original condition and return shipping costs.  In order for warranty to be honored out to 90 days, the buyer must message the seller within 48 hours of receiving the item and verify that the equipment arrived in working order.  (This is to prevent damages that may have occurred during shipping to be shifted to the seller a later time.)  Under some circumstances, Scicycler may request the buyer to send equipment diagnostic data to Scicycler to verify the equipment arrived in good condition.  In the rare event that an item does not function according to the manufacturer's specifications, the buyer is expected to conduct some equipment troubleshooting over the phone with Scicycler prior to return of equipment.  The UV and Visible lamps are not covered by this warranty.
