    Description

    The 150th Idritsko-Berlin Order of the Kutuzov Division is a military unit of the Red Army that took part in the Great Patriotic War. The period of hostilities: from September 12, 1943 to May 9, 1945 [1].
    On April 30, 1945, units of the division, together with units of the 171st Infantry Division, stormed the Reichstag by storm.

    On April 22,
    On April 22, 1945,during the Berlin offensive operation, the division adopted banner No. 5 [3] from the Military Council of the 3rd Shock Army, one of nine special banners intended for hoisting over the Reichstag. During the battle for the Reichstag, the assault flag of the 150th division was set over the main entrance to the building by Lieutenant Rakhimzhan Koshkarbaev and Private Grigory Bulatov. Subsequently, similar banners were installed in different parts of the building, including the Victory Banner, erected on the dome of the Reichstag by soldiers of the 756th Infantry Regiment of the division: Alexei Berest, Mikhail Egorov and Meliton Kantaria. The abbreviated name of the division is indicated on the Banner of Victory.
