Vintage ISRAEL ISRAELI Flag NAVAL Ensign Nautical Merchant boat ship 3x5 ft RARE
Size is stamped 3 ft x 5 ft (see pictures)
This flag was inherited from a ship captain who worked for Lykes his entire career. Cargo ships, etc. had to fly the national flag of the country that they were in (in addition to the American flag)
Heavy material and heavy stitching.
Not sure of the age. This flag was in the original plastic packaging (see pictures) and has never been flown. I took the flag out of the package only to take the pictures.
The is some light staining on a couple of the fold lines due to the age and storage. (See all pictures). There is Israel 3x5 written very lightly in chalk on the bottom blue panel (please see pictures)

This design of the Israel flag was introduced in 1948.
