Vintage ISRAEL Variant Flag Civil Ensign Nautical Merchant boat ship RARE
Size is stamped 4 ft x 6 ft (see pictures)
This flag was inherited from a ship captain who worked for Lykes his entire career. Heavy material.
Not sure of the age. Doesn’t appear to have been flown, as there are no frays or tears. The is some light staining on a couple of the fold lines due to the age and storage.
Tag says it was from Foster Co Inc Manufacturers, New Orleans, LA
This is a civil ensign variant flag of Israel. It was introduced in 1948. The design is navy blue flag with white vertical elongated oval set near the hoist containing a vertically elongated blue Star of David
