    Description

    For auction is a beautiful vintage example of restaurant advertising using ACL or applied color labeling on small water glasses. This particular example was a midcentury pizzeria in Chicago, Ill. The restaurant was "TRIO's PIZZERIA" at 421 W. North Ave. You can tell it was midcentury by the way it shows the phone numbers WH 3-1257 and WH 4-8012. The best part is the
    caricature
    of the company logo pizza chef on the front.
    This small water glass stands 3 3/4" tall and is 2 1/2” in diameter. It has a glass manufacturers name on the bottom that looks like a cursive "L" with a 4 on either side of it.
