    Waters Micromass Q-Tof Premier Mass Spectrometer - Manufactured 2006
    Q-ToF Time of flight - separates ions based on m/z ratio
    -ESI Electrospray Ionization - spritzes eluent, ion evaporation until droplets small enough for ions to be ejected
    -Nanolock Spray - allows ESI at 5-50ul/min
    -APCI Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization - usually protonated or de-protonated; sampled heated & vaporized in a heated neb. then injected into a solvent plasma, allows up to 2 mL/min eluent flow
    -Capable of APPI Atmospheric Pressure Photo Ionization - UV light used to break apart larger molecules
    Quadrupole (MS1) - 4 rods w/ AC of varying frequency & intensity allowing only particles of a select m/z ratio through
    Tof - Time of Flight - high voltage
